After having walked by the stairs a few times without noticing the center, we actually went down and were pleasantly surprised to find a big shopping center with (compared to the very exclusive GUM) reasonable priced stores and all kind of fast food on the bottom.

I love this mall for so many reasons: The location - right next to Red Square! The convenience - there's a metro stop of the same name next to the mall - no outside walking necessary on those coldest of days. The food - there is a lot of variety here, from Russian chains in the food court to Sbarro... More

By spending 3 days in the center, this was only mall we were able to find that had compelling prices and attractive items.

Right across the Kremlin lies this "underground" shopping centre. Decent food court with local and international food chains. Popular international brands and plenty of local ones too for clothes, shoes, bags & knick-knacks. Many locals shop here.

From all the malls in Moscow, this one has the second most charm and uniqueness (GUM is the best in those categories). Being underground is just one of them. Great central hall ceiling is another. But general shop layout is the greatest feature of this mall. Since it's so close to Red square and Kremlin it would be a shame... More

I like this place in the very center of Moscow near Red Square. You don't need to go somewhere around the city center. Everything you need to buy is here: you can buy cheap clothes, souvenirs, food and etc. Highly recommend this place.
