My friend and I watched a beautiful ballet in the 'New Theater', but also managed to get a sneak peek inside the main theater lobby as well. They are both brilliant in both architecture and the arts that are performed there. An absolute must!

I visited this place for the spectacle - Boris Godunov and as a visitor with the excursion through all the theatre. Both impressive. The only downside I could find was a price of champagne in the foyer. Be careful! ;-)

I have never been a ballet fan and was a bit sceptic about our visit in the Bolshoj theater. My wife insisted and organized it . We saw a performance of Gregorevitch and it was impressive. one tip: get a seat in the lodge.

it’s more than shopping that makes this place
interesting. Take a few steps into the streets running
parallel to the main artery to discover the charm just
behind the mighty Stalinist style architecture. Comfy

When we were there last month for the ballet, there was no standing room tickets. You had to buy a seat. We dealt directly with the Bolshoi online. Be careful, the theatre is really a horseshoe shaped theatre with the... More

That's correct, and you have to get the ticket on the day. No tours on public holidays.

I think you should be able to collect the coats within 15minutes, no serious delays should be expected as far as I remember.
