Legendary poet here in Russia. Surrounded by a nice park. I seem to remember that this is not the original location but glad to see he is still so revered by the citizenry. Nice to have historically significant individual remembered without attachment to military or...More

The monument to Pushkin is known to any native of the capital. And not because of its artistic meritы, although it is undeniably good. This is perhaps the main place in Moscow for meetings. It is surrounded by benches, greenery behind them, three metro stations...More

This is another bronze statue to see whilst wandering around the streets of Moscow. Pushkinskaya ploschad is a very busy place with a lot of traffic and a metro station underneath (of the same name). The statue is nothing particularly remarkable and a short visit...More

This statue is located in the centre of Pushkin Square and hence one should just make a quick photo stop when visiting the square since this is a very celebrated poet in Russia.

One of the main statues on Tverskaya Avenue, located close to the metro and closer to the amazingly beautiful "elysee" general store, the monument is a must on the Moscow checklist. Just take a minute to stop and read the inscription. Usually something going on...More

Pushkin is very beloved by the people of Russia. The monument is usually adorned with flowers and is a very popular square in Moscow. If you visit in the spring or summer there are well maintained flower gardens for your viewing pleasure.

Centrally located at the Pushkin square, this monument is very well made and represents a poet in its rather relaxed position. Very nice homage to one of the most famous poets of Russia. Great flower gardens around.

Tverskaya can’t be discovered with just a first
glance, the neighborhood is shaped around a long
street populated with well-known shops and brands. But
it’s more than shopping that makes this place
interesting. Take a few steps into the streets running
parallel to the main artery to discover the charm just
behind the mighty Stalinist style architecture. Comfy
