So I’m organizer therefore my life is full events 😜 and in Moscow was yoga’s day in Tsarizino. I had zen and positive emotions.
My children worked volunteers.
We arrived 7 am early morning))) around without people 👍 incredible territory, beautiful buildings, historic place.
Definitely I recommend for foreigners.

And she was Catherine the Great, one of Russia's greatest empresses (a German, by the way).
As a Muscovite, I visit that gem quite often, the last time being in mid-July, with my grandsons.
The place is also famous for its cultural events - concerts, exhibitions, carnivals, fireworks, ethnic festivals, and we went there to see one called Tsaritsyno of Dacha Dwellers.
We loved that day! Nice weather, numerous master classes, sax music, and classical music concerts in the open air - an unbelievable ambience of the times passed. Even a blues-rock group playing with a shaman beating his "magic" drum!
An absolute can't miss!

The park is huge and has several buildings that can be visited. I recommend the Great Castle because it can see the architecture and life of Russia during Catherine the Second. The other two castles are ok, if you are interested in art be sure to visit them. There is a breathtaking golden hall in the Great Castle. Certainly the whole park is beautiful, in one part there is a lake around which one can remember and rest. There is a miniature museum in one section, but we have not visited it.

I am local and visit this park during any season. I find this place safe and comfortable, historical and beautiful! But only recently visited all buildings and exhibitions inside. Highly recommend as all information present on the website. All exhibitions are technologically contemporary and available on 3 languages - Russian, English and Chinese. Every 3rd Wednesday all exhibitions are free of charge.

I mainly went to walk around frozen lake in winter. Paths are great and scenery very picturesque for photographers.
Walked up hill and through arch to see amazing history before me. Such important and well preserved buildings are stunning.
I didn’t have time to visit museum but it is on my list.
Plenty of cafes and facilities but it did not feel like a tourist trap. Lots of families old and young.
Tsaritsyno metro on green line is close and well signposted.
Very enjoyable 2 hours on a Sunday afternoon.

A wonderful place, out of central Moscow but easily reached by Metro. Well worth a visit. A very well kept and organised large garden, an incredible Palace with a beautiful museum and collection. No wonder it was Catherine the Great's favorite places even though she never saw it finished.

Beautiful park, where many many brides come to take photos. Intricate gingerbread architecture and also a museum and cafeteria. Easily accessable by subway from Moscow. Large park and grounds with musical fountains too.

Greetings! How far is the Metro Station from the Park Entrance? Which Exit Number Gate of Metro station will be nearest to get to the Park?

You can take the #2 subway train from Teatral'naya to the Tsaritsyno stop and walk 7 minutes to the main entrance. Or take the #2 train an additional stop, to the Orekhovo entrance, which brings you to the wooded trails behind, but closer to the museum. There was an option from Orekhovo to pay for a golf cart to drive you around. However, there is a lot to see if you enter from the Tsaritsyno train stop side, pretty fountains etc.

The grounds which are beautiful all year round are free. Access to the museum is expensive and not really worthwhile. The inside of the house has been totally rebuilt and unless you have a specifil interest in one of the exhibits it´s not worth it. The palaces of Kuskovo or Ostankino are much better choices.

Hello, Is the Museum inside the Palace of Catherine? How much is the entrance of the Palace? Can we buy the tickets online or at the window? Thank you!

Hi
Entry to the Palace is from the below ground level of the Museum. I think the price was about 500 rubles. Although I strongly advocate purchasing tickets online for sightseeing in the Kremlin I do not think it is necessary here because the crowds are small. I do recommend using the very small open air bus, which holds about 8 people for travelling through the park. Small charge & a number of stops along the way.
