You will come across this as you go through the gates to exit red square. Go through the impressive gates to Alexander Park , a few metres in you will see this guarded monument dedicated to the unknown soldier . Peaceful and full of respect.

Thought this was a fantastic memorial to Russia military loses, 25m in world war 2 alone deserves something special and this is very special. Stand and think and I’d be surprised if a tear doesn’t well up!

This was so understated, it could be missed if you didn't know what to look for. We wanted to see the changing of the guard and left Red Square to get there early enough to be able to see. We didn't make it in time....More

The changing of the guard happens every hour. It was quite moving to witness. Located in Alexandrovsky Garden.
