The Kazan Cathedral is a beautiful Russian Orthodox Church located opposite State History Museum at the corner of Red Square. The Cathedral is still functioning and worth to pay a visit inside if you have time there.

Can't miss this particularly beautiful church at the north side of Red Square. A pleasure to see and even more beautiful on the inside. It's a functioning place of worship so make sure to go inside to see the frescos but at an appropriate time.
