Visited in December 2018. Entry was 200 Doubles (about $US3). Interesting history but nothing in English. Still fascinating to see the innards of a Soviet sub.

My girlfriend and I visited the submarine museum whilst in Vladivostok - located on an actual Soviet submarine located, slightly resembling of a statue, on the waterfront by the harbour. The entrance was a little hard to find and it looked closed at first, but...More

The submarine museum is literally a museum in a submarine, between the docks where warships still wait for action and the war memorial that honours the guys who didn't make it back. For 100RUB or so it seemed worth going inside and I was not...More

get a picture of sub outside and don't bother going inside of this stripped sub where only propaganda and photo hounds dressed as sailors pose with you and demand money.

Interesting to get a feel for living on a submarine but otherwise not particularly thrilling. In an interesting location however

I was prepared for captions in Russian only, but the first section of the submarine was entirely devoted to photos of men, presumably associated with the submarine and its wartime activities. The back end was more interesting but was half empty. All we saw was...More

Love that green color and great chance to be able to get on board of a real submarine that was very active during WWII. You get to go through tiny doors and see inside. Location is great on the bay/harbor. When we exited the submarine,...More

Confronting, as it makes people think of the reality of the life of a submariner. Worth going through it.
