The monument is big and is right in the main city square, which is a large open space with a good souvenir shop close by. I imagine all tourists would go there, and why not?

Centrally located near the city center, convenient for a walking tour with many nearby stores, restaurants, etc

It is the center of Vladi, broad place. Many pigeons, when day is sunny you can see many people there for walk. There is also souvenir shop. But qulity is not good, so many tourists are there. Air is not good. You will pass here...More

Check the pictures - its a nice view from down to the monument and up to the street and the place is good - but of course there are many people around so that you have to wait to get a picture without humans on...More

Like any square in any big city it is used for many purposes - from community events and demonstrations to fairs, farmers markets and New Years celebrations. You can't escape it and it is a good meeting point for anyone in downtown. Come stroll it,...More

The statue honors those who fought for there country. Yes, it is from the communist era, however, those soldiers still deserve honor. It is a must for those who love history.
