Take a nice walk up these steps to the theater and you'll find a lot of nice sculpture along the way. This is a bronze statue to a soviet era guitarist/singer. Notice he is playing a traditional Russian 7 string guitar.

The statue to Vladimir Vysotsky is in a quite park in front of the theater. Just a couple of steps uphill from Svetlanskaya street. Vysotsky visited Vladivostok in 1971, as he called this visited - "he opened a close city". I walked by the monument...More

This statue is in a small park on Svetlanskaya St and has free wi-fi so a good place to sit for a while

You won't be able to notice the monument from the street unless walking up the alley towards the Gorky Drama theatre. It's too small and difficult to locate especially in summer with all the greenery and trees around. Not the best place for the monument....More
