Many intricate amber carvings, but most left me unimpressed, as it‘s not a material which fascinates me. However, if you do like amber, this is the place for you.

They have some outstanding amber pieces mixed in with some more pedestrian ones. They do a nice job of explaining how amber is mined and processed, and the history of amber in the Kaliningrad area. Get the audio guide as English signage is minimal.

Interesting. Most of the interesting pieces are replicas of the originals held in Moscow and St Petersburg. Nice old building.
