The statue is very big. You can get to it by walking about 1km up to the top of the mountain, it's not very far. There's also a burning fire that never extinguishes.

It’s impressive for its dimension but this is it. There not much to see around it apart from the statue. We had fun flying the drone around it and took stunning videos. Anyway, it’s one of the most important monument in the city

This huge monument is visible from points across Murmansk and is probably one of the few must-see sites when you are there. It's quite a long trek from the city but still possible to walk (I managed it). Great views over the bay and Murmansk....More
