One cannot visit St Petersburg and not see the Hermitage! It is the place to see artworks and there are plenty of Masters, many masterpieces and the list of highlights is long. I would recommend visiting with a guide so you can be guided to...More

It is often very crowded and pickpockets are at work. It has some very impressive items and exhibits. It's probably better if someone explains the items and their significance.

We visited around lunch for about 3 hours. You would need days to see everything though. I can reccomend the Egyption exibition. It definitely worth to see it.

It is really easy to buy them at the machines, so I would not spend double the price. Once you have the ticket from the machine you can bypass the line, same as with an internet ticket.
