The Russian Museum Is in two sections,the Michailovsky Palace and the Benois wing.The palace is incredibly beautiful but I went mainly to see the Aivazovsky , Repin and Serov pictures. Not very interested in Communism art!

This big and nice museum have the best and biggest collction of Russian art. Take at least 2 hours to visit the 100 old art museum with best masterpieceis.

Yes there is a cloak-room, and they will store small luggage. I'm not sure if they'll accept suitcases or larger bags. Didn't see any.
