Elegant!

Magnificent and elegant Arch. And I really was impressed on this underground station "Narvskaya" as well.

This is nice arch to see, if you like architecture. There is also a museum in the arch, but when I was there it wasn't open.

There is an interesting museum inside this monument (Museum of russian military history). So try to get in! The door is located on the inner side of the Arch

This monument is located in industrial district of St.Petersburg next to the underground station "Narvskaya". If you are interseted in travel photography you will like this place. Take a wideangle lens & go to see it. You might also like a beautiful quiet park called Ekaterihof in 5 minutes to go away from the "Narvskaya" underground station.

A beautifully designed and built arch to commemorate the Russian victory over Napoleon, a tremendous feat considering that many believed Napoleon to be unbeatable as he moved across most of western and into Eastern Europe, winning earlier encounters with Russian troops.
