A nice Place

I went to Nizhny Novgorod with my colleagues. I like this travel. This town is very nice and beautiful. I was there in the summer. The weather was wonderful.

Great architecture. It's a good start or end point of your trip. It boasts beautiful gardens, flowers and trees. Very calm place. You find some interesting paintings

Beautiful and quiet monastery. Ideal to finish here the city tour, so that after the inspections to sit in the garden, relax and think. Still there is a unique bell - tipped as the Leaning Tower of Pisa. And in the cafe at the entrance you can buy fresh monastery consecrated cakes, kvass and goat's milk.

Good example of Orthodox monastery with beautiful painting inside main church. Also there a lot of holy relics there.

This Beautifully restored 16th century monastery is definitely worth visiting, we enjoyed the great view of the old building and its holy ambiance, and the Volga landscapes from opening the hill, the main cathedral is painted in frescos that are about the same age as those available in Yaroslavl churches, the monastery also hosts a small museum of Nizhny Novgorod... The monastery was founded in 14th century by St. Dionysus. A nice quite place, with wonderful views, interesting churches and amazing outdoor cafe with cheap and tasty pastry (“pirozhki”) for 20 rubles and hot tea (10 rubles). If you walk from the city center it's better to come from Sennaya.
