Normally this park would form part of the access route for people visiting the city from the river boat terminal, but when we were there the route was blocked for maintenance so it was only accessible from the main street. A nice enough park with...More

This park is In the center in Volgograd, tall tree forests and beautiful flower gardens. Holy fire is burning in front of monument as the same in other Russian cities. Many Stalin style buildings near here. Beautiful garden. On this avenue its possible to see...More

Nice park but not a must. The park is a nice break in the city of Volgograd. It's nice to walk through the park towards the river to see the other sights like the fountain of Art etc.

Is a good place to visit while in Volgograd on a nice day. Well designed with lots of benches to sit and take in the scene.

Listening to my wife explaining me how as a child she was standing there to memorize the Great War makes it very personal. The change of guards is interesting although not so impressive as in Moscow.

This is a sort of pedestrian street that starts at Lenina Prospekt and ends at the Central Embarkment. It's a burial site where the great heroes of Stalingrad are remembered on plaques with inscriptions which, as most things, are in Russian, so unless you understand...More

Located in the very center of the city the Alley starts at the Eternal Fire monument, dedicated to Unknown Fallen Soldiers and continues through the park all the way down to the Volga Embankment. Good place to visit and take pictures.
