Did not expect this lake to be that big and filled with many people, with some exercising, taiji-ing, playing chess or even cards. Walked the whole park and it took at least near to an hour with a normal pace.

In the park,there is a restaurant where u can also enjoy your food on a small boat.nice experience but dun try it when in cold weather!

Liwan Lake Park is a nice place for a evening walk.the only negative part its is crowed after evening 5 pm.

It’s rather like any lake you’ve visited. Nothing spectacular here really, but it is quite large so you can spend quite a bit of time exploring if that’s your thing.

Was there this morning. The entire park is very large; we only covered a small part, having accessed it via Changshoulu station. Saw groups of ppl doing morning exercise and even singing!

I saw the park just after visiting the Liwan Museum. You may just go around enjoying the old tall trees or you can take a boat togo on the lake inside the park. It is a suitable place to visit as a family.

There are a few lakes here and you can even catch free street opera when strolling through the area. There are Xiguan houses here where you can see the homes of the rich families in the past.
