The site was originally the site of the Guangzhou Presidential Palace during the Constitution Defense Movement. The palace was damaged during Ye Zhu's attack on June 16, 1922. The hall itself was heavily damaged and repaired several times until 1998, when it was completely modernized to its current state. There is a statue of Sun Yat-sen in front of the main entrance.

This time I walked the grounds to enjoy the flower gardens. The grounds are extremely well-maintained, and kept very rich in appearance.

The buildings in this park are really super beautiful, the main thing is that the design inside the pavilion is very good, the special eaves drainage system, have a chance you must go to see the structural explanation of the design, I was in the WeChat small program Canton Laowai saw this attraction, there are a lot of wonderful attractions

Although not as grand as the Nanjing Mausoleum, this is still a beautiful structure. Dr. Sun is the founding father of modern China, which People’s Republic of China has done a great job to preserve his importance and significance to the next generation of Chinese revolutionaries, while the so called Republic of China in the province of Taiwan has totally disregarded the importance of this great Chinese leader. Overall, it was a honor and privilege to visit this historical site. As a Chinese American, I am glad to see the Chinese government has done a great job to preserve the memory of Dr. Sun

This memorial hall must have been quite a stand out when it was first built

Now, it is still an impressive building. Interesting to walk around. It's outside corridor has information about Sun Yat-sen, how he came to power, and about the architect amd the hall

Inside it is actually a large concert hall which you can enter, amd sit in

I would recommend to visit the monument together with Sun Yat Sen Monument and the Guangzhou Museum as they are within walking distance of each other, The monument is housed in a soothing park & we can see GZ view from the park.

The second floor of the memorial hall shows how the building Wass contstructed and its drainage system. Pretty impressive .
