Amazing discovery of this tomb of this king in Guangzhou. Relics, bones, life of this king opened up for the visitor to get a glimpse of life and death in ancient China. Very well displayed and explained to the visitor.. We loved exploring this site.

This museum has numerous display items that came from ancient history, including but not limited to the mummy replicated based on history. Interesting China History. Do follow the museum guide (free) and he will provide all the interesting facts, much better to explore on your own . The museum is right besides a metro station, very convenient and affordable entrance fee at 12rmb.

The Museum was really interesting, with the highlight being the mausoleum and jade burial suit. I recommend also visiting the excavation site of the palace just off Beijing Rd, only a 5 minute taxi ride away.

This is definitely worth the 12RMB entry fee! There is a good English language intro video and lots of information about Guangzhou's history as a port on the Maritime Silk Road. Best of all though are the tomb, which you can actually enter (watch your...More
