Everyone will meet at the lobby of Tang Dynasty Palace by 7:00pm for you to get a ticket with your name. Enjoy the Splendid Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show with fabulous music and dancing of Tang Dynasty, China's golden age. The show is also a different way for you to get to know the historical culture of ancient Xian city.

What is great about this excursion is that it combines two great elements in one tour - an entertaining show and dumpling banquet that indulge all your senses. The dumpling banquet comes with approx. 18 varieties of dumplings including pork, chicken, mushroom and duck with leeks, carrots, lotus roots and more. The dumpling banquet starts around 7:00pm and after dinner you will enjoy the Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show. The show ends about 9:40pm and the tour ends at the Tang Dynasty Palace.

Awesome show. Great entertainment, bright & colourful costumes. Nothing special about the meal prior to the show though

I liked this old event, from what I understood, it has been here for years. It was about the only Empress Wu Ze-uan of the Tang Dynasty. Though a tourism corp. event, it had a great orchestra, and though be it, a limited venue, was a fun, easy to follow dance and music show. I was glad I attended. The... More

The Dumpling Banquet before the show was great and the costumes of the acts in the show were very pretty. However, the production was a little 'amateur dramatic', and very boring and I ended up counting down the acts to the end of the show. Being on a tight schedule in Xian I feel that this could have been missed.

The food was good. The table we had first class and we could see the show. The show was a Hollywood spectacular event. We had prearranged tables through our tour and prearranged dinner menu but it was excellent.

This was so boring that my partner and I started counting down how many acts were left until it would be over and I LOVE musicals, theatre shows etc but this was so poorly done. They kept calling them actors but it was all just very slow dancing, without words. The choreography looked like a 6th grade teacher had done... More

The show highlights a wide spectrum of traditional Chinese entertainment from traditional Chinese instruments, singing, ribbon dance, storytelling with a full orchestra and dance. Beautiful, elaborate, and colorful traditional costumes were worn by the dancers and actors. The meal was good, not exceptional, but tasty. You can see the show without having dinner and it's a lot less expensive. This... More

The staging and costumes were very nice. The presentation and performance seemed a little weak to me. But overall it was fun, somewhat historical. The dumpling banquet was not that great, a little bland and frankly the service was a little cranky. I guess I would still say it is worth the time and cost.

A great show from beginning to end. I especially liked the percussion musicians act, they all seemed to be really enjoying themselves . Very colourful. We had a front of balcony table and with two shows that night we were fed a couple of dumpling courses under show lighting . This is not usual I think. The food was very... More

We had our group dinner at the show and it was everything you thought China would be. Food was interesting but tasty and excellent. Not sure about the rice wine!!. Limited english from staff but easy to understand. Show and music first class.
