Although the place doesn't look very interesting, underground, it is another story altogether. You will go underground to see the tomb's artifacts which were unearthed at the actual site - you walk on glass and look to the bottom to see the horses, figurines, etc...More

Even though the Terracotta Warriors in this place are more the size of toys, I find this place much more interesting than the Original Terracotta Warriors. This place isn't widely known and off the beaten tourist path. Barely any tourist there. From the north of...More

Quiet attraction many travellers give a miss. This very large tomb has had a lot of money put into showcasing the village life under the Emperor. Glass walkways abound the main pit area where you walk over dig outs and get close view of thousands...More

We visited this tomb after visiting the terracotta warriors and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There are very view tourists which adds to the ambience. The contents of the tomb are well displayed and a fascinating contrast to the terracotta warriors.

Must see, you are so close to the excavations you can almost touch them . Impressive the way they have integrated museum into the tomb. 3d show is also well done

Less crowded than the terracotta warriors but not nearly as breathtaking. The glass floors were amazing. Worth a visit while in Xi'an

Amazing - go there and feel the history. The fantastic amounts of renovated stone soldiers is almost unbelievable. If you are in China and have the time - go to Xian and see this magnificent place.

If you can spare 30-60minutes either to or from the airport, Han Yangling makes for a great stopover because: 1. It's not much of a detour from your way so not much time used up to travel there 2. It's got hardly any tourists compared...More
