The ticket is not very cheap but it is a nice park inside with animation for free, such as music concerts, theaters, singing, camels rides for 30RMB each. They have gardens with beautiful flowers. A huge lake inside where you can ride a boat. It was a foggy day when I went there, but it was still nice. However, I... More

this was not what I expected at all. It looks like a boat moored up though is just all made of marble. the whole thing seems to be a 'folly' though one that will last for many years.

The park is large and a welcome green break in the big dusty city of Xi'an. Lots of small touristy entertainments are provided. It is great for kids, especially if you can read/speak Chinese or do some reading on performance times etc. beforehand. There are lots of small music performances (drums, tang dynasty court music etc.) and these are the... More

I was surprised by the size of this site with palaces/ pavillons which contained now defunct hot water pools even one for the kitchen staff. There is a light show there in the evening which we did not catch

The park tell difference story about peasant, scholar, monk and royalties life during the Tang dynasty. Among all the building I like their... More

Very big park with lots of things to do and see. Entrance fee is 120Rmb/adult. We took the tram ride (hop on hop off), 30Rmb/adult/round. Kids below 1.1m is free. Many stops with different attraction. There's pagoda, lake, stone sculpture, mini "zoo" (deers, peacock, etc), camel photo stop, children playground, and many statues all around the park. They also have some... More

Taking a walk on a sunny day is great here. Nice view, very good snack food and many great souvenirs to buy. I recommend to stop by the Grand Melia hotel for an amazing lunch to eat. Also for 5 rmb you can get a bag of fish food to feed the fish.

Thank Eric l
