Largest wet market in Kunming

Great area to visit to see every imaginable sort of food available in Kunming from meat, fruit, veg, cooked food, insects etc. Very busy place (especially on a Saturday when we went). Well worth the visit for an hour or two to see local shopping in progress.

We popped along to this food market to pick up some Sichuan peppers to take home with us.
It’s a real slice of local life in Kunming. It’s always interesting to see what is for sale at local markets and this one is no different. The meat section isn’t for the faint hearted though.
