We booked the tickets(RMB 190 each ) through our hotel and our seats were in the fourth row.
The moon and peacock dances were very good and we had a pleasant surprise at the end of the peacock dance. Other dance items were also good and the dancers were smiling and enthusiastic as they danced. The theatre is a 10 mins walk from the pedestrain shopping zone. Show is about one and half hour.

Definitely worth the money!
The singers and dancers really knew to entertain, from louder rhythms and singing to very quiet and fantastic scenes. The peacock dance at the end definitely a highlight!
A little annoying were the laser pointers, discouraging people from taking pictures or filming... the intro stated no filming, which is understandable but they even bugged everyone who was just taking a picture... either state that it's not allowed or leave it be. This constant laser pointing was a lot more distracting than the phones that they tried to get rid of.
Anyways, the performance by the singers and dancers was so good, I'll still rate it a *****.

I have seen many different Cultural Shows in my many visits to China, but I rate Dynamic Yunnan as up there with the best of them.I attended as a member of a group of 19 people and we all agreed that it was a wonderful show. The varied songs and dances kept you enthralled. The story behind the Show's producer & director Yang Liping is also fascinating, the way she promoted the Local Ethnic Groups to participate in the show. Highly Recommended.

I would rate this top among the many performances I have seen in China. This is the main attraction in Kunming to me.
What's most disturbing was, some Chinese tourists were noisy while the show was going on. I guess sitting closer to the stage would have avoided such nuisance! We were sitting at row 15. There are 18 rows with 36 seats across in the performance hall. 4 categories of tickets/seats are available: RMB480, 360, 260, 180 as published.

starts slow and lazy, but soon becomes hot and the cressento is wooaou. The solo of the a girl dancer (must be a known chinese dancer on her style) is amazing. the cost of rmb 260 per person is worthy. if you can affort get the vip tickets of abt rmb500 on the balcony to have a top view and maybe better sound. try a middle seat.

The performance was great, but I was very distracted by several bright video screens in front of me recording the performance on stage. The cellphone of a woman behind me went off and she had the nerve to answer it and have a conversation during the performance. She even raised her voice to be heard by the caller. Unbelievable! An announcement was made prior to the start of the show in Chinese and English to please turn off cellphones and that no photography or video recording is allowed during the performance. It was completely ignored. The theater MUST enforce this rule. It is extremely rude and inconsiderate to others in the audience.

This was highly recommended to us by the tour guide and our group decided the day before to get tickets. We got tickets for around 160RMB, I believe and, seats were in row 10, #1 and #3, right in the middle. This show is better than the usual performance of acrobatic and dances. All performers were trained professionally. With tickets that cost above $100USD when they travel around the world, it is a steal! Go there early to have pictures with the performers.

I love every bit of it. The show starts at 8pm everyday. We bought the cheapest ticket (RMB180 per person) and we enjoyed watching the whole show. Except for a group of tourist that spat on the floor and a guy just slept throughout the show. Oh yes, no video or photography are allowed but I can see a lot of people clicking their cameras with their flash on. We sat at row 6(seat no.26,28).

Where do I buy the tickets to the show , Yunnan impressions.?
We are staying at Green Park Hotel. Thanks.
Written June 2, 2018
You can book online or at the ticket office at the theatre. Many hotels will also book for you (rates will vary depending on where you buy). Close to where you are staying is the Upland International Youth Hostel, and they sell tickets at the lowest price we found, but they may only sell to people who are staying there.

What is the ticket price? Can it be booked online?
Written October 12, 2017
I can’t recall the price either but think it was about $40/person - tickets vary in price but we opted for basic seats and they were fine. Ours were booked for us through Wonders if Yunnan tour company (highly recommended) and were waiting for us at our hotel. My wife, adult daughter, and I really enjoyed the show.
