We were here on a Sunday and it was packed with people singing (false) and playing instruments. It's fun to watch but it's such a loud experience that we were in and out of the park within 15 minutes.

I wouldn't go out of my way to visit this park unless I was in China very briefly and wanted to see a typical example of a Chinese park in action. This is just a park and not a remarkable example of a leisure area...More

Green Lake was near my hotel so I took the opportunity to join the local people and do my morning exercise walking around the lake. I really enjoyed seeing the local people sing and dance in the park.....very entertaining.

In the evening you'll find locals dancing and singing. The perfect place to experience park life in Kunming. The light at dusk is amazing.

Beautiful, open park and lake, family atmosphere, incredible views and people-watching. Great shops and restaurants surround this little piece of paradise.

Green Lake park is a bustling hub of Kunming. The amount going on is fascinating but don't expect a calm, evening stroll. There's tai chi and dancers performing until late, locals snapping a cheeky pic of a laowai and shops selling their wares. There are...More
