Love it!

You cannot see the strange food as in Beijing, but you can find some awesome things to eat.I found even the beggar's chicken.

Must try, lots of food to buy & try. Beggar chicken, lots of grill skewers and lots more. This food street is at Hefang Street lane, near the shops

The snack street could be a gem if it's your first time in China, but for locals and ex pats that have been here for a while, it's nothing new. It's just street food all packed together. I didn't see one new item there. I do like to visit snack streets in each city but I usually find something new... More

We stayed in Hangzhou 5 nights and at the beginning we tried a famous restaurant, it was OK but definitely for tourists because all the restaurants propose almost the same menu and even the same photos. As soon as discovered more Hangzhou smaller streets, we found the best food in the street in the evening. It's very special to see... More

Found the place by accident, when looking for the post office on Gaoying Street, next to a bus stop. And didn't realize first, it was one end of the snack street. They are selling those crabs, and other things like veggies on skewers, that you just put on a tray after selecting and the guy will then fry it for... More

Hanzhou Snack Street is located at the end of Hefang Street.Look for a sign known as "Datong Food Lane" if i am not mistaken... Something, like that...Food is really cheap and its authentic Hanzhou food. You can order many dishes and try it out. Try the chicken that is boiled in a BIG BIG pot using clay or mud. Not... More

Hangzhou food is heavy on the use of sugar, soy sauce, and oil. Popular restaurants in Hangzhou include Zhi Wei Guan and Lou Wai Lou. A more adventruous option would be to head over to the snack street - a cluster of food stalls down a small sidestreet serving popular snacks from the region. The food is cheap (nothing over...
