Quiet, Less touristy attraction. This is next to Hangzhou Zoo so if you're visiting the zoo, you can drop by this place too. Admission Ticket is 15yuan. The man selling the ticket isn't very friendly though, I'm a foreigner so I only had cash and when I told him I only have cash, he actually sighed. What can an international tourist do when wechat pay and alipay isn't available for them? The entrance to Hupao Spring is lush, fresh and cooling with greenery. It is a nice visit but I wasn't sure if I visited the main tiger site since I was confused with the directory.…

Very easy to reach the place by taxi, didi or public transport. There is a bus dropping just in front of the entrance. It is a nice place for hiking and drinking tea boiled with the spring water. I suggest black or red tea more than green tea. Bring plenty of snack food and drinks along the way if you decide to hike. Nice activity for family with young children…

These famous springs are in a park that also includes interesting exhibits on Buddhism and on the major literary and historical figures who have visited or lived in this place. Spring water is used to make outstanding tea, and you can also enjoy a tearoom where they make various grades of longjing green tea with the spring water. There is a place where local people collect spring water for their own use, and people line up for hours to collect it. I found this park very beautiful and if I return to Hangzhou I will visit again.…

Very easy to get here by either taxi or public transportation. We caught the bus and it dropped us off right in front. The grounds are mature gardens with centuries of history. The tea shop is a great place to take a break, try the dragon tea. This ranks right next to West Lake as a must see attraction in Hangzhou.…

This was a hot hike on a summer day, but it's so lush and fresh with greenery and flowers in the summer! We went on a weekend, and boy, it was crowded! Both the upper trail (which is a heart-pounding climb!) and the lower springs were filled with hikers. I imagine it must be a lot less crowded on a weekday. Although Hupao is famous for its spring water, it still cannot be consumed without boiling, so don't count on going to the spring for a drink! Be sure to bring lots of water for the hike. The top has a great view of the Longjing tea fields, West Lake, and the Qiantang River.…
