It was great to climb this ancient pagoda with such historical significance. You can see beautiful murals inside. The entrance fee was very cheap. Fewer people visit here than the centre of hangzhou, so it was great to have the place all to yourself.

My son and I climbed the Pagoda. The stairs are narrow and a little slippery so use caution. Well worth the effort. The pagoda is striking on the outside and a bit worn on the inside. It is made of bricks and wood and surrounded by...More

I have visited pagodas before, but this one it's just an overwhelming experience! The delicate art inside, the stories in each painting, and the amazing view from the top! Don't miss it!!!

It was no need to go there and back by bus stuck in the traffic jam for one hour. Waste of time. The park and pagoda itself looked shabby and not attractive. So we took a shortt look and hurried uo back to the lake.

This was an easy climb up, but then you can boulder around the top of the hill. Be careful! Nice view.

Amazing views from the top floors for the lake, the mountains and the city, and carved woodwork to show the legend of the place. Free audio guide in English (and other languages), if scanning a QR code, through WeChat (however, the menu is in Chinese,...More

Nice place to see...just the overcrowding is overwhelming. Also the taxi from there is hard to get - especially between 5 - 6pm. There are some cheating type of drivers who aren't legitimate offering their services charging triple the price of regular taxi.
