You are not often alone anywhere in China, especially public places, but this was an exception. Beautiful, peaceful, quiet. Worth the stop.

Take the rowing boat through this unique wetland. Till 2003 still inhabited by farmers who were moved out on behalf of the government. They now work as guides through the area. Full on weekends but what isn’t in China.

Today is Easter Sunday (2018) and this review is no April's Fool prank. We had a very relaxing time on the battery boat tour through the Xixi Wetland Park. We did not get off the boat at the various stops to walk around and visit...More

Great place to go to just chill. It is a large area with lots of area and paths. Take a boat ride. It circles through the western half and it is on/off. Little hidden places abound. Can get very busy on holidays and nice weekends.

It's a nice park to go for a stroll to get away from the busy city. However, don't go on a holiday. If you do, expect lots of people. The boat ride is worth it, calm and relaxing.

Of course that the bikes are welcome there! I saw a lot of tourists and loco peoples using them. You can also rent those from the public system. Enjoy your ride!
