At first we thought this was just another observatory deck, like the TV Tower but in reality it was way better. The chair lift was fun to ride and the observatory view was so nice. For the low ticket price that we paid, I thought...More

Interesting visit, a little tired but worth a visit just for interest and great views of the city. 500 Yen to the top was a great deal.

A must go place in Sapporo. Unfortunately, we arrived minutes before the closing time for the chairlift so we did not get the chance to ride it. There is a museum and souvenir shop as well as cafe at that area.

Not mindblowingly amazing, but was worth the effort and time for the experience we got. The scenery from the observatory is beautiful, with tourist-priced corn soup and ice cream, both appreciated in winter. The ski lift ride up was also enjoyable, with good service. The...More

This place wont take much of your time but the view at the peak (mixed with the creepy sounds of ravens) is absolutely worth it. Just don't forget to try the melon flavored soft serve. You can watch people skiing down the slope while you...More

There is no age limit, and actually some people brought toys to play in with in the snow when I was there.

With the transportation system in Japan second-to-none, I can almost guarantee there would be public transport to the observatory. The information counter at Sapporo station should be your best bet as far as what bus to... More
