Lots of food and duty free shopping. Good to spend 1/2 day to stroll around. If it rains, there's underground shopping (Pole Town) which leads to the Susukino station.

There are many blocks along the street and at night is very crowded. Many stalls and restaurant at around. When heavy snow we entered a small ramen resto side road, nice to get warm and enjoy ramen.

Offers protection from the from weather. If it get too cold go underground to Pole Town, a shopping mall that connects three train lines a Odori station.

Great people watching ... Smaller local shops, no big brands but a good way to walk around under cover and experience the local shopping scene.
