Located in the right beside the park and within a short walk from the small zoo. Less than 10 minutes walk from the Maruyama Koen station. You could enjoy the park and the zoo too before settling down for a great seafood at Jyogai Ichiba.

This was an easy walk from the subway station. The park leading to the temple has loads of smaller shrines. The stream and trees were peaceful interludes. The temple complex itself is impressive and yet simple.

We went here in a early morning, not so much people walking around. It took about 10 mins by foot from station to Hokkaido Shrine. It's really relaxing to walk in woods. Then we got to the Shrine, follow the instruction to worship, and bought...More

There are some beautiful trees along the walk from the parking lot to the buildings. Be careful to keep right leaving or you will miss the way back.
