The minute I stepped into the Tenryuji temple, I felt like just sitting down and meditating. This zen Buddhist temple has such a wonderfully peaceful and positive vibe to it. It was simply blissful.

The Temple tour was meh...nothing to really see. Anything in the temple you need to see, you can see from the gardens, which are stunning! Definitely go see these Gardens in you are in Kyoto!

Tenryu-ji is one of my favourite temple in Kyoto because the zen Garden is fabulous, with an amazing view on moutain. The main house is very nice and painting very beautiful.

We walked the garden and you had to pay extra to walk in the temple. There was a place you could see into the Bamboo Forest quiet and peaceful. Don't be in a hurry

Ticket is sold at the gate of garden. Usually, queue of gate is short, less than 3 min. Ticket price is 500 yen at Feb. 2017.

Hi ! The last time i visited Tenryuji Temple. We paid entrance and went inside via the entrance by the bamboo groves. there is no name on the outside of the gate. It's right before the slope of the road is uphill
