While visiting the local attractions I would recommend the small fee to access This garden, easy walk with plenty of beautiful gardens and scenery

After the crowds through the Arashiyama bamboo grove, the stillness of this garden struck us. We encountered very few people during our time here. Price includes tea and a sweet (quite vile, we thought, but that's obviously a matter of taste).
