It's an almost all-you-can-find-under-one-roof mall. Especially if Kyoto is your last stop before you leave Japan. The mall is located within ten minutes walk from the Kyoto Station.

It's a good place to kill time when it's raining or too hot outside. They renovated this place a couple years ago so it doesn't look that bad.

The aeon mall had a few interesting stores. There was a store selling good quality yukatas. A big arcade for gaming. Local and imported clothing brands and such. The people who shop here are mostly Japanese. Not a bad place if you want to spend...More

Okay, it was raining for three days straight when we were in Kyoto. So.. shopping malls are pretty good alternative to keep my kid entertained. Aeon mall has one floor full of arcade and other play area for kids. Pretty fun.
