We were looking for a unique experience in Kyoto and Gear was a great choice. The written pre-show information was provided in English and Japanese, but the show is entirely without words. This is ideal for the few tourists in the audience (like me). The...More

The atmosphere of the theatre was so nice. The play itself was well organized and you don't need to understand japanese language. Just watch and feel it. It would be a great experience.

Quite a unique, fun, quirky show involving dance, singing, lights spectacular, music, wind (!). Booked ahead online and paid by paypal, tickets available at the desk. Quirky Cafe Independents bar is in the basement for a drink or dinner afterwards.

Shinkyogoku Shopping District
Those who delight in shopping and cuisine will find
themselves at home in Shinkyogoku. Lauded and visited
by locals for its Nishiki Market, where baskets of
fragrant spices, dried fish, and just-fried foods are
piled high along the snaking streets of its enclosed
outdoor shopping spaces, Shinkyogoku is not only a hub
for fresh fare, but also for fast fashion fixes.

Nichole B
Hello, In your opinion, would an attentive 2 year old enjoy this show? What is the duration of the show? I think it will be a stretch for my 2 year old daughter but I think this show looks interesting for adults as well! Seems like it will be easier to ask her to sit through this than having her sit through a traditional tea ceremony. I would like to see some sort of performance while visiting Kyoto in a few weeks. Thanks I advance for your insight!

They sell out quickly but keep a few for "on the day" sales and "standing room" sales.
Is there a show today that my family of 4 could attend please?
