Kyoto Fun is one of the best tour guides I’ve had. Neall is an English speaking tour guide and he is very knowledgeable and knows what he’s doing!
The early bird Kyoto tour is an excellent idea especially in a city full of history and a tourist magnet! We also did the discovery of geisha tour! Oh my!! It was definitely the icing on the cake of our trip! Thank you Neall for showing us Kyoto! I had so much fun and one of the best travel experiences I had. Arigatou gozaimasu!

We were met at the train station by Niall who guided us through to the van. We went to the markets, ate some amazing food, bought some personalised chopsticks, then did a tour of the ninja museum. After this we went to a shrine, then a zen garden before a quick stop off in a historical area of Kyoto. In one day we saw so much!

We had a great early morning tour of the Fushimi Inari temple with our perfect guide Robin. With plenty of joy she made us experience the wonders and the beauty of this amazing location! It was really worth getting up early so we could experience this before the crowd came. We needed this tour also as motivation to get up early. Thank you!

Our adult family absolutely loved this 6 hr bike tour around Kyoto. Eric our guide was the best. So genuinely enthusiastic friendly and knowledgable. We really felt we saw the real Kyoto biking down back streets and discovering the beautiful culture and history of Kyoto.
Our 22 year son who had loved the skiing up north said this was a very close 2 nd in experiences. We always felt we had plenty of time to see the shrines and gardens and enjoyed a very authentic lunch. We certainly had an appetite by then.
A special mention to Niall who was our contact person and also offered fabulous recommendations for restaurants etc
Thoroughly recommend this company.

Seeing geishas and the old town light up with lamps in cobblestone like alleys. So beautiful and memorable. Our two sons 20yrs and 17yrs old were with us and they loved it too. Philippe the guide made it fun and at the same time so informative. Great evening. Thank you!

Niall was outstanding! My daughter and I were traveling to Kyoto for our first time in Japan, and one of our first times overseas. Niall couldn’t have been more helpful. He met us at the train platform, showed us around, helped us shop for things my daughter needed, and made sure we arrived at our destination right on time. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide.

This was the perfect way to explore Gion and its many temples. The streets were peaceful and serene allowing us to truly relax and take it all in. Our guide, Leo, was knowledgeable, patient, and kind and was extremely engaging for our kids ranging from 7-12 years old. He took us on a great walk from the Geisha district to shrines and temples, explaining the meaning behind what we were seeing. We ended with a delicious ramen dinner to continue the conversation. This tour was definitely a highlight of our trip!

My boyfriend and I had two great tours with Niall. Firstly we did an evening walking tour which was great with Niall taking us to some of the quiet, beautiful parts of town explaining the history. He took us to the Gion district and although we didn’t see any at that time, on his advice we returned and saw Geisha Girl the following evening. The next day Niall took us a hike to explore more of Kyoto again with lots of history which we were really interested to hear about. Would definitely recommend Niall- relaxed, informative and really helpful. Thanks Niall!

We spontaneously booked this tour and we are happy we did! Even though we had 33°C, it was an amazing tour! Our guide Phillippe knew a lot of historical things to tell and showed us very nice nature areas along the river, beautiful zen gardens at the silver pavilion as well as at Heian Shrine but also the Gion district where he told us of Geisha's life. Due to the temperature we arrived very exhausted but happy! We highly recommend this tour to every tourist!

We did the Gion Night Walk and it was excellent. Niall made it interesting to both us and our teenage children, who loved it. We also got a bunch of great tips for the rest of our Kyoto trip. Highly recommend.
