自然豊かな境内を持つ日蓮宗の寺院です。お寺そのものは特に印象も薄く、こんなもんかなの一言です。綺麗な花が咲いていたのが印象的です。

開かれた宗派、庶民の宗派の日蓮宗関連宗派の寺院です

開かれた親切な寺院(一部に例外もあるが)の宗派＝日蓮宗なので・・・ここも写真撮影とか拝観には苦労はしませんでした。我家の菩提寺の浄土宗のように門扉を閉ざして人を排除するようまなことはしないので・・・。ここは日蓮の孫弟子の日像が京都で布教するのに当時から信仰厚く、参詣者も多数の北野の天神さんにお詣りして来る人を目当てにこの地に寺院を建てて説法していたと伝承されています。

北野天満宮の南は寺町

北野天満宮の南側、一条通り商店街にほど近いお寺です。境内はきれいに掃除がされていました。このお寺も含めこの付近は実に多くの寺院があり、ちょっとした寺町の様相を呈しています。今まであまり散策したことのない地域だったので、私にとっては新たな発見でした。

とても綺麗なお寺だと・・・やはり日蓮宗の寺院でした

日蓮宗の寺院はほんの一部を除いて、何故こんなにも綺麗にしてあるんでしょうね。感心しますね。新しい、古い、は関係なく・・・境内も庭園、堂宇も極めて掃除と手入れが行き届いていて綺麗な寺院ばかりです。しかも、共通していることは境内無料、ってこと。徹底していますね、この宗派は。良いお寺が多いですね、ここも素晴らしい庭園、堂宇と山門があるお寺でした。
