My husband, four year old son, and I stopped here after hiking in the area. This was a great addition to our day. The Ninja Trick House was awesome. We also enjoyed the ninja obstacles outside. Totally worth a visit.

The selling point of this museum is those facilities for fun, like shuriken and especially the ninja house no doubt. Even adults can have lots of funs there. This is recreational part. For educational part, there's museum which tells the history of Togakushi ninja, knowledge...More
It was long drive from Tokyo, but worth it! It is a big old school Japanese style trick house. It was not easy to get out, but had fun exploring all the rooms. My 6 years old son was so excited to opening hidden doors...More
The ninja house is excellent fun, just don't be in a rush to catch the bus because it might take you longer than you're expecting. Don't bother with the star throwing though as they're not sharp and won't get stuck in the wall (fairly obvious...More
A highlight of any visit to Togakushi area. This museum is composed of several houses with exhibits (the one with ninja photos is great), ninja training circuits, a nice cafe, and a ninja house, which is just amazing! ;)
Secret doors with varying means of opening them, a hidden tilted room and mazes with sliding panels - each segment of the ninja house challenges your perception and your ability to think rationally, and also think outside the box. Took me about 20 minutes to...More
Trying to walk in a room where perception is off, hidden rooms and rooms apparently without doors. We had a ball exploring and the ice cream was great too!
What we preferred at this museum was the ninja house. Basically, the name of the game is to find your way out of the house- defeating tricky doors, secret trapdoors and other sneaky ninja tricks. Not so easy actually, we had to scrath our heads...More
This place was a lot cheaper than I expected at ¥500 for an adult. The best part of it is the ninja fun house, which can be a real challenge in some parts to get through, as you try to figure out where the hidden...More
Didn't find the tilted room. Wished they'd let you try again, but sadly, they wouldn't. Kids were a little disappointed.
