This is a very nice park that is easy to get to and around. During my trip, I traveled around Osaka using the subway and walking. I did not go into the castle proper as the line was very long on the beautiful day that I was there. I did, however, partake of the little food stands in the courtyard... More

The surrounding gardens around the castle are worth the visit!! The castle has plenty of interesting things for all age groups, for sure worth the price of admission! A must see- go early before all the tour groups show up or late afternoon.

We visited during the cherry blossom season, which just made every corner look stunning. The park exploded with colour, and it was impressive how well it had been kept. Everything was in a prim and proper line, including the trees, and made for some beautiful photography.

After visiting the Osaka Castle museum, we explored the surrounding premises. Osaka Castle Park extends over two square kilometers, and contains grassy lawns, plum, peach and cherry blossom groves.

Really beautiful place, full of locals doing cooper and walking around with dogs. Inside the castle there is a full history tour with pictures, clothes and even videos explaining the many phases of the castle

A great place to catch the cherry blossoms, and if you're patient enough you can get a great photo of the castle reflected in the pond.

A wonderful park to walk around and have a picnic. The main attraction is the garden (admission fee) and the castle itself (admission fee). If you are a tourist on your own the all day unlimited travel on the subway gives discount on the entrance and other attractions in Osaka and almost pays for the yen 600 - 800 pass.... More

The gardens of Osaka Castle were pretty. The inside of Castle was diasappointing. The entrance looked like a hotel lobby and the stairs were narrow to the top floor. The elevatir were full & lines were long. The 360° view was beautiful though.

This castle gave a good glimpse to Japan history. Interesting animations also for children. Many many stairs to climb up and then down.
