Amazing typically Osaka place, one of the best place in Osaka for eat in restaurant with very competitive prices and big portions, the workers are very friendly and the panorama is funny and coloured in day and in night. I will comeback again.

Lovely place. Worth going up to the tower in the centre of the place. Food are amazing and at reasonable prices. Busy tourist area even at night. Easy walk away from namba around 12min walk.

Such a good little throwback area! A great place to eat too, with the Yokoduna restaurant a good and cheap novelty for some amazing food, in MASSIVE quantities, at an amazing price! Plus a great place to get some really good snaps.

This place reminded me a bit of Dotonburi, but older and quieter. There are some old markets that sell clothing, ceramics, and antiques. It's less crowded than Dotonburi, so I had no trouble finding a cafe to sit down and chill for a bit. There...More

Lots of restaurant and shopping a bit expensive but very nice. Beautiful view from the tower and you close also to the zoo.

This is a tourist street but it's not busy and there are different restaurants, shops and food stalls to try different foods, especially sweet treats. It was a lovely walk around and if you want somewhere fairly quiet then this is the place to go.

We enjoyed our visit to Shinsekai. It has a different feel to other parts of Osaka. I read some reviews saying seedier, however, we found it comfortable to walk around and while there were signs of homeless people and the odd intoxicated person we never...More
