This was the outstanding place for enjoying cherry blossoms of all of the places we went. The trees extend for a long stretch on both sides of the river. There were many picnickers but this park was very tame compared to Ueno Park in Tokyo.

Fantastic place to stroll along the river and enjoy the cherry blossom (when in full bloom). Food stalls also line the area so you might spend more time here than expected.

Spring in Japan is magic and we were lucky to see the cherry trees in full blossom. An experience of a lifetime!

Visited this park on close to peak blooming. It was a sunny morning and the blossom was looking lovely. Lovely too were all the families enjoying their Hanami picnics. Such a tranquil pretty place.

We were lucky to have experienced Sakura trees at full bloom along this river. There are tons of people picnicking here at it is Saturday and they have nothing better to do, kinda like me.
