We went upon reading other reviews and quite enjoyed our stroll through the park. It was easily accessible by train (only minutes walk from the station) and full of cherry blossom trees. Unfortunately none of them were in full bloom when we went but it was still beautiful none the less. It felt like a real local park, we didn't... More

No wonder this is rated as one of the best sakura viewing spot in Osaka. I did no expect to see so much sakura trees in full bloom almost immediately on exiring from Sakuranomiya Station, a couple of stops from Osaka Station along the JR Loop line. Cherry trees near full bloom lined both sides of the river for a... More

We were lucky to have experienced Sakura trees at full bloom along this river. There are tons of people picnicking here at it is Saturday and they have nothing better to do, kinda like me.

If you want to enjoy a walk in a park and if you're lucky enough to get there at the blossoms season, than this is the place to be. The access is pretty easy from the train lines and you're also next to the Osaka castle that is worth to be seen.

We went at the end of March and the sakura trees were just beginning to bloom. Very beautiful, worth a visit in the right season. It's within walking distance from Osaka Castle.

And Yodogawa Osaka, in order to traffic the Okawa, so to speak gate. And Yodogawa, in order to navigate Okawa, it should not and does not take into account the difference in height of the river. If you go from Yodo side locks to Okawa, boats from adjusting the height difference by closing the locks both to enter into We... More

This Park is great for nature lovers and romantics and even the young at heart. I rated it excellent because of the following: Easy to reach. Get the JR transit and find Osaka loopline. The ticket machine has english instructions. We were near Bentencho station so we got ours there(tickets). It is free or no entrance fee.Locals come here most... More
