Bring my family here and it is a good value if you buy a combo with daily (unlimited) train pass. I mistook it as the largest akuarium (which should be in okinawa). But nevertheless have a good time for kids here.

This is may be subjectively, i love so much about fish and another water animal. So this is the one you must visit at Osaka. From the smallest creature to biggest fish, from mammalia to mollusca. You willl find so many kind of species here.

Whale shark, huge arapaimas swimming with huge pacus and piranhas, capybaras, and giant isopods. My favorite things about this place. They have seals, otters, and weird dolphins that enjoy drinking water, it sounds weird but if you've been there you know what I'm saying. Great place to bring young children.

A great set up, and a great place for families, i love the way that you start at the top and every level you go down is one level down in the sea

Overall it's not a bad place but I found the aquarium in Nagoya and Kobe better as they had dolphin shows. I personally found the Sunfish and Whaleshark rather unique.

So many angles and so much to see in the main tank- we sat in various spots in contemplation for considerable amounts of time. The whale sharks alone... The sea otter, giant salamanders, night heron (love herons, another one off the list!) and smug seal were among the many other highlights outside of the main tank.

This is a good place to visit on a hot or rainy day. There is a central tank in the middle and you walk around it. I love the Japanese crabs because they look like they come from outer space wth their long legs.

My fiancée asked me when we were walking up to the aquarium, if this was bigger than Ripley's in Toronto. I just looked at her deadpan and said, "you'll see." This is a MASSIVE, multi-level behemoth, with so many species, I was legitimately impressed, even more so than when I went to the Boston Aquarium. The species are all fantastic... More

This is a great attraction with a wide variety of aquatic wildlife from all over the world. It's easy to travese for young to elderly and is generally disabled-accessible. Try not to go on a weekends or national holidays to avoid the crowds.

I went to the aquarium because I wanted to see the whale shark, but it turned out there were so many other animals, even fresh water ones. They even had a capybara (which for some reason was in the same tank as piranhas)! The entire aquarium is basically the big aquarium in the middle (with the whale shark and other... More
