Osaka doesn't have many "tourist attractions" so make sure to visit the Castle. It's a majestic structure on the outside and after a nice climb (or elevator ride) to the top you take in a panoramic view of the city. The exhibits inside the building...More

The place was full of tourists and there were exhibits to show the history of the place. The entry was very organized but I really was too tired to go up the observatory.

The Castle (even if it is quite recent) is artistically beautiful. Inside is a museum splitted in each floor, while outside it shows the authentic Japanese style. A place to visit to take beautiful pictures representing what you are looking for in Japan.

I saw lots of shops you can rent kimonos and they were 20-30 US dollars not sure I saw any samurai rentals but I'm sure they are around.

Castle opens and closes as stated 9-5, i think your find the grounds outside the moat are open 24 hours? main reason being they have venues nearby. The grounds inside the moat are locked down.
