Really love this area! So many arcades, prize machines, anime shops and video game shops! It's a great place and atmosphere, with some really nice small food places around too. The video game stores in Japan are of course brilliant, especially the retro floors, offering a great nostalgia trip, while selling cheap (or at least in comparison to rip off... More

I was there at around 7pm to 8pm. Most of the shops there were already closed or were in the midst of closing. I assumed it would be lively like Akihabara and have the neon lights and all, all night long but it doesn't seem to be the case. It looked sheepish when I was there at 7-8pm. I was... More

Good street for electronics shopping... Many shops around... Mostly second hand.... Price bit expensive... But you might find something cheap... So worth a try.

Is place was great and reminded me of akiba. Lots of anime, arcade, and electronic stores everywhere. I had to leave so I wouldn't drain my bank account

People who are into anime, toys, electronics and even old CD's and LP's will really love this place. It's a long strip of shops of action figures and some antique toys, you just have to look at the back of the store. It's just a long the strip of Kuromon Market. Just be careful not to go to the ABOVE... More

This was one of my primary destinations when I went to Osaka. It is really meant for people who enjoy certain hobbies like gunpla, figure collecting, video games, RC cars, trains, airsoft/bb guns, cars, and the like. The area also has a few AWESOME restaurants and there's a McDonalds in the area along the main road if you're not feeling... More

Kids had a great time going thru the arcades and toy shops. Bought a load of fun toys which were very reasonably priced!

As my Japanese friend says, Denden towns is what the old Tokyo's Akihabara used to be before turning into "ALL about Sex tourist attraction" . Denden town still have that spirit of old games and new ones . Add to that , it's teh shopping destination for good second hand electronics. You just have to ask the buyer what's teh... More

We did not even know about this until we saw some flyers in central Osaka. It was very quiet while we were there but we found many things we wanted to buy that we did not see anywhere in Tokyo later on the trip. It lacks the vibrancy of Akihabara but we're glad we went here first- it was like... More
