Can we just please take a moment to appreciate the amazing shopping at Hep Five? You can find the latest Japanese youth/street fashion at a fraction of the price you would normally find at the other malls (say.. Namba underground or the other malls around Umeda/Kita district). This place gets crazy crowded on the weekends, so you might wanna head... More

Went here when it opened (around 11am) and made my way from the top to the bottom. Plenty of little shops that aren't typical high street or mall places. It got a little busy when I left (around 2pm) but it didn't feel overcrowded, even though it was golden week. I don't recommended coming here if you aren't into younger... More

A youth oriented mall, with a ferris wheel. The lobby is impressive due to its giant whale sculptures and information booth ladies welcoming everyone Nothing interested me, since the shops are all youth focused, and local

Sega game room is the only place worthy to visit here. Cool Air hockey game Japanese techno style !!! The rooftop ferris wheel was so-so. The shops were so-so.

Finally I have found the stuff I looked for at Hev Five with the best price. On the 7th floor, there are huge games center so no wonder those teenagers having a big fun around there.

Different from other shopping malls in Osaka is Hep five mall. Especially late afternoons or evenings are a good spot to watch Osaka's young and trendy crowd with strange fashion and green hair. Ok its not the best coffee but sit down at starbucks at the top floor to watch people! And if you are there just take a ride... More

If you are high on cash and ready to spend, Hep5 can scratch that itch for you. Besides clothing stores, they also have a disney store, ferris wheel, and even a Sega Joyopolis. Great place to hang out and also there is an all you can eat cake buffet on the dining floor. Next to Hep5 is the cinema, which... More

This was the closest place in Osaka that I found to Harajuku's Laforet Mall - hip shops with products that also fit westerners. We ate at Ramen Xone which was just okay. The ferris wheel is not bad but the view at Umeda Sky is much better.
