Spent an hour or so on the cruise and the Ferris Wheel - both free using the Osaka Amazing Pass. We timed it around sunset for the best views. The cruise was relaxing and comfortable enough, though it can get windy on the upper deck. Plenty of space to run around and take photos (for weekdays anyway); passengers mostly tourists.... More

Cruise seems safe, crew very good, no issues with this aspect. However this cruse is a total waste of your time if you are visiting Osaka/Japan from overseas. Its extremely boring, despite the audio commentary. If you've been on a ship of any sort, then I suggest you skip this experience, even if you are using the Osaka amazing pass... More

You can buy a ticket for this along with the Osaka aquarium tickets. The boarding area is clearly marked, people tend to queue up around 15 minutes before departure. The ship itself is a replica of Columbus' famous ship, can't say why but it does give a nice/different feel to the whole thing. When on board you can go straight... More

I was wondering around after visiting the Osaka aquarium (another great place to visit), and decided to do the cruise (can be part of the aquarium ticket). It was a gray, cloudy day, but that didn't affect my enjoyment of the cruise. I spent most of my time at the very front, enjoying the spray and the breeze. Because of... More

A visually breathtaking ship said to be an exact replica of the one that Columbus discovered America in, but twice the size. The ship was beautifully lit up at night and was very spacious and comfortable inside with a nice snack bar (coffee, soft drinks, beer, snacks, etc.). However, taking the night cruise, we found the scenery very boring, no... More

After exiting the aquarium, we passed by the entrance of the La Santa Maria cruise. We took a look and found out that there was discount if you did the aquarium tour. So we boarded this Spanish galleon inspired ship and took a cruise around Osaka harbor. The sights around the harbor were not exciting. We passed by USJ, several... More

Words cannot describe how happy I am that I looked into going on the Santa Maria Twilight Cruise! The ship was beautifully lit up at night and the cool breeze was well-needed after a long, hos summer day. The trip was exactly one hour and my only complaint would be that all the information over the speaker was in either... More

Getting on board the Santa Maria cruise was amazing especially if you get the twilight cruise session. The sight of the sun setting background was a view to be appreciated. The cool wind brushing against your cheek has the cool calming effect. You just had to get on to enjoy one of the great moments of sailing with the wind.....
