I'm glad the kids enjoyed themselves in the craft class. However, it was a shame that the main attraction was still being adjusted.
The professional works were overwhelming, and when we filmed the video of the fireworks as day turned to night, it looked surprisingly realistic and amazing.

We used the osaka epass to enter. A good 2 to 3 hours for kids to spend time there. Small place with a ride, 4d movie about 5 minutes, small play area with slide and places to climb and the rest basically playing with lego. For experience wise, one time visit is enough. Will not go again.

Perfect for younger children..the place is a small managable size. If it were bigger we would have been exhausted and probably lost a child ;). Went on a Monday morning so it wasnt that crowded.
Booked online to save 10percent and reserve a slot. They have a small cafe where a tiny child sized bento starts at 800yen..it was the perfect amount for my children. Not much food for adults though bc everything is mini me sizes thus i was starving.
Make sure that your children are wearing socks. You must wear socks to play in the jungle gym. We didnt know so we had to purchase socks for 300yen each.
Staff were quite friendly spoke some english and of course as always extremely polite. When my younger son fell and bumped his head (just a tiny red mark) one of the cafe staff noticed and came running over with a cold towel. Next thing I know she called another medic staff who came with a full on first aid kit! Kudos to excellent service.
My kids are begging me to go back!

We went on a holiday with my husband, mother-in-law, and two-year-old.
It was my first time at a Legoland, but I don't think it's necessary to make this your main reason for travel.

It was very crowded because it was a holiday. The space itself is small, so I think it gets very crowded on holidays. Only families with children are allowed, so it might be better to go on a weekday.

There is a food court, but it's quite small. Also, food tickets are sold at the vending machines, but you can also order at the register. If you're at the register, you can use a credit card.

We enjoyed the Little Osaka next to the 4D theater the most lol

Maybe they should think a bit more about the service and management! The vending machine corner is quite dead space, so there's room for more thought. .

We went to the Lego shop next to the Osaka Legoland Discovery Centre and bought 2 sets of lego (7000 and 10800 yen respectively) from the shop, only to discover that Toys 'r' us at Namba Parks is selling the same ones at 4999 and 7999 yen respectively (non discounted pricing although this price does not include the 8% tax). Regardless, I paid approx. 20-35% above what toys r us is selling at. And to top it off, there is a best price guarantee claim on their website. I tried to write in to request for a refund 2days after I bought them (product is unopened and unused, still in its original bag), and they flat out rejected the request. So, my advice is PLEASE DON'T PURCHASE your lego sets from them. Expect to be ripped off if you do!

And if you want to visit the discovery centre, please pre-purchase your tickets from JTB or a tourist center to get a discount (I think it's 1500yen), otherwise you have to pay for a walk-in fee at premium pricing (2300 yen). By the way you also have to purchase tickets for the adults even if the requirement is entry only with kids. So we ended up paying for 4 tickets (2 adults and 2 kids) which is same price point by the way. The experience there is limited and small in terms of size, the indoor playground DOES NOT look as fun as it seems on the website, its smaller than most indoor playgrounds we can find in Singapore.

I bought advanced tickets online but when we went to go to inside they told me you can't go in without children so they refunded me and I won't even get the refund for a month

When we arrived in Osaka in early June and heard that the new Lego Discovery Centre just opened, we decided to go check it out with our 3 kids (1 toddler, 1 preschooler and 1 9-yo). It was a disappointment. First station was the Lego factory where you are taught on the big screen how Lego was made (looked fascinating but narration was in Japanese). Thereafter, we entered the main area which included some slides and Lego play areas. The place was crowded for a Monday afternoon - must watch the younger kids as our littlest one almost got lost in the crowd. One minus point is that no staff seemed to be on hand to supervise the kids on the tunnel slides. There were some older kids (7-9 year olds) who climbed up to the top of the tunnels, trying to build Lego skyscrapers. So dangerous. I gestured to them to come down, which they did. However, several minutes later, they climbed back up again.

Ridiculously expensive! Closed at 5pm when advertised til 8pm. Wouldn’t allow us in with sons 18 &16 - because we didn’t have young children with us.

I felt adults should be charged lower than the kid's price of 2000Yen. Parents paid 2500Yen to sit around to wait for the kids. Plenty of tables and chairs around. Mini playgrounds for kids to climb and play around. Most are in Japanese so did not watch the 4D movie.
