During our dinner of Shippoku cuisine at Shian-bashi, I asked to a restaurant staff for a taxi. It was 75-minute-sightseeing plan of Mt. Inasa and lit-up Mganebashi(Spectacles Bridge), departing from that restaurant finally to our accommodation in the center of Nagasaki. It cost 6,000 JPY...More

Take the ropeway up the mountain and walk to the observatory. If you climb to the roof, you are rewarded with 360 degree views of the city and harbor. It is a beautiful sight.

It was a little cloudy on the night we visited but still worth it. They say it's in the top three night views in the world and it certainly is impressive. It seems it would have been cheaper to buy tickets for the ropeway from...More

We traveled up to the top on the Nagasaki Rope line. Went up around 9:00 pm and stayed about 45 minutes. The rope line trip up is approximately 5 minutes.

Nagasaki is situated in a natural amphitheater and the best view is from this 1,000 foot summit reached by both cable car and road. Well worth the trip using either method.

Lovely during the day, and enchanting by night. We arrived late in the day, to coincide with the twilight hours ending in the evening. A 270 degree of the city, harbour, ports, and residential hills, and then, magically, the skies dim, and slowly, street lights...More

You can drive all the way up to the top of Mt Inasa and there are some parking spaces (about 20 only).

If you can get to Nagasaki Station, there's bus No. 5 right outside it that will take you to like more than halfway up the mountain and you can walk up for like 20 minutes from where you get off the bus; that will be cheaper... More
