You wont be able to see the view if it is cloudy or rainy. Make sure to reserve a seat at Nagasaki Station for the free bus to the site and ask your hotel for the discount price for the cable car.

I have been here many times and it gives you s different feeling for night view and day view. It is very cold so please prepare for sweater in winter or spring.

You can drive all the way up to the top of Mt Inasa and there are some parking spaces (about 20 only).

If you can get to Nagasaki Station, there's bus No. 5 right outside it that will take you to like more than halfway up the mountain and you can walk up for like 20 minutes from where you get off the bus; that will be cheaper... More
